Ali Zafar to Appear on ‘Coke Studio’ for Third Time

The super star of Pakistan and one of the most productive exports from Pakistan to Bollywood, Ali Zafar is once again into the musical arena and this time the news which is driving his fans crazy, is the comeback of the youth sensation to the platform of Coke Studio, which is undoubtedly one of the biggest musical platforms of the region.

Earlier, Ali Zafar has featured on the first two seasons of Coke Studio and has given some mind blowing performances in the form of “Allah Hu”, “Yaar Dhaadi”, and “Daastan-e-Ishq” which were a spiritual journey for Ali as declared by himself. Ali was known for his funky tunes but Coke Studio performances really opened a new avenue for him and gave him a new identity. Since then his “Jhoom” was also a Sufi inspired album.

Any ways coming back to the recent development, Ali recently tweeted about his upcoming venture. Here is what he has to say to his fans,

“You will be seeing me in the coming season of Coke Studio.”

For past couple of years, there has been a lot going on Ali’s end and he has been busy doing a lot of commercial projects across the border in Bollywood, both in singing and acting, and has been equally successful but it remains to be seen that what he has to offer in this season of Coke Studio.

Whether he will go for a mystic approach or will return to his earlier “channo” style, one thing is for sure that he will certainly be creating a lot of hype for the upcoming season of Coke Studio. With Ali Azmat, another pop/rock giant, already in the house. There is a lot to expect from this season. Hope it comes up to our expectations. Fingers crossed!
