Strings Will be Lending Music to ‘Shootout At Wadala’

August 26, 2011

Shootout at Wadala is a sequel of ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ which is a film based on a real-life gun battle between the gangsters of Mumbai and the police. Though the movie saw mixed reactions, the creators have still planned to release a sequel since the movie was critically acclaimed.

The sequel is expected to bring in some new faces like John Abram who will be seen acting as a villain. Anil Kapoor is also expected to be part of the cast. The sequel is also based on a real-life battle between the gangsters and the cops but highlights another of such incidents that has been forgotten.

We have previously seen Pakistani pop band Strings lending a song to “Shootout at Lokhandwala’ and we have just heard from a source close the band that the pop duo will be lending some more music to the sequel. We are not sure as yet if it will be one song or more.

Strings has never disappointed the fans with the music they have produced for the release in India and we have great expectations.
