Coke Studio Leaked Content, Whom to Blame?

June 18, 2011

It’s the fourth season, four years in the making, and managerial staff at Coke Studio can still make you feel like they just started off with this project. From website downtimes to the leaked musical content and broken affiliates section, we have seen it all and the fact that I frown upon the most is that it hasn’t stopped in four years.

This season we have seen two of the videos which got available over the internet beforehand, both by Bilal Khan and I have already seen people pointing fingers at him. Bilal is very professional and has been very secretive about being part of the Coke Studio until the actual announcement. It’s the managerial staff at Coke Studio who would keep repeating but wouldn’t learn.

Both the leaks were initiated by Coke Studio’s official Youtube channel, which is under Frequency Media, Hyatt‘s company.

You can see the snapshots below of the uploaded videos

With the subscriber count of 23,814 on the official channel, it would be foolish to think that the videos won’t go out, even if they are made private under 30 seconds, there will be someone who will view and download them. Coke Studio is notorious for cancelling the acts If the word by the musician goes out but if the word by the management goes out, well, they choose not to care.
