Ali Zafar to present ‘Tere Bin Laden’ at the IFF in Melbourne

Following the phenomenal success of the inaugural festival in 2010, the Indian Film Festival: Bollywood & Beyond (IFF) returns in 2011 to celebrate and showcase the best of Indian cinema.

The Indian Film Festival is delighted to invite a very special guest to Australia — musician/actor Ali Zafar who will be presenting his tongue-in-cheek comedy ‘Tere Bin Laden’ at the Festival in Melbourne and will discuss his career within the world’s biggest film industry. He will host a Q&A session for ‘Tere Bin Laden’ at the IFF and who knows maybe he will even sing for the audience.

The screening of ‘Tere Bin Laden’ will take place on the 13th of March from 17:30 to 20:30 and the screening venue is Hoyts Melbourne Central.

Other then the Pakistani Prince of Pop, this year’s special guests also include acclaimed Indian actress Vidya Balan, Juhi Chawla and Malaika Arora Khan. Some of the most charismatic and talented film-makers in the business will also be in attendance, including Arbaaz Khan, Kabir Khan, Raj Kumar, Leslee Udwin and Onir.

Judges of the festival are director Kabir Khan; actor, writer and producer, Mick Molloy; writer/director, RajKumar Hirani; independent producer Robyn Kershaw and director Shimit Amin.

The Indian Film Festival will take place from March 11th 2011 till March 20th 2011 in Melbourne, Australia.
