January 14, 2011

Cricket World Cup 2011 is just around the corner and this time around, Atif Aslam, will be giving the official soundtrack for the world cup from Pakistan. Even though, that’s treat enough for Atif fans, but that’s not just it, you can even be part of the official video.

The video will feature several cricket stars apart from the pop star including Shahid Afridi, Wasim Akram and rest of the cricket team.

All you have to do is make your way to the Liberty Round, Lahore on 15th of January (Saturday) around 5:30 am so you could reach Qaddafi Stadium Lahore by 7 am along with others who reach there.

Refreshments will also be served and you will be able to witness the live video shoot.

Update:

Atif Aslam’s Management denied the news by updating the official fan page of Atif:

“These days a rumour is being spread by few people that Atif Aslam is going to be a part of the official music video of world cup 2011 @ Qaddafi Stadium Lahore. Well there’s no such news.”

However, the Official Facebook Page of PCB – Pakistan Cricket Board is not denying the music video shoot, which means that it is still being shot today at the Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore, and will continue shooting there till Tuesday, 6:00pm.
