Write Concept for Zameer’s Video and Win 500 Dollars
Zameer Rizvi is hosting a competition in which all of you can participate to write the concept and story line for Zameer’s upcoming video, “Mind Over Murder”. Just write 800-1000 words about what you think the message and story of the video for Zameer’s single ‘Mind Over Murder’ should be. The winner will receive $500 in cash, VIP access to the film set, and a chance to star in the music video! The submission deadline is June 10 2010.
Rules:
1 – Each contestant must write a storyboard for the video of ‘Mind Over Murder’ based on the song and the lyrics provided below.
a – the story board must be submitted as a Microsoft Word Document, in .doc format.
b – the storyboard must contain at least 800 words and no more than 1000 words.
c – the storyboard may contain photos and/or videos but does not need to.
d – the storyboard must describe the plot, setting, and characters of the story.
e – the submission must include your name and contact information.
2 – Once the contestant has completed his/her storyboard, it must be emailed to the following address: [email protected].
3 – The submission deadline for the storyboard is Thursday June 10 2010, 11:59:59 pm EST
4 – Five finalists will be selected by a panel of judges, including Zameer. The finalists and their storyboards will be announced and posted on www.zameermusic.com on or before June 17 2010. All contestants will be notified by email by June 17 2010.
5 – The 5 finalists will be judged online by Zameer’s fans on www.zameermusic.com and each fan will have the opportunity to vote. The winning entry will be the storyboard that receives the most votes of the 5 finalists. Voting will take place between June 17 2010 and July 1 2010. Voting will close on July 1 2010, 11:59:59pm EST. The winner will be announced on July 2 2010.
6 – This contest is open to contestants anywhere in the world, any age.
7 – The winning contestant will receive $500 in US currency on July 2 2010.
8 – The winning contestant and one guest will be provided VIP access to the set of the ‘Mind Over Murder’ music video shoot. The winner will be provided notice of the shoot date and location at least 30 days prior to the shoot. It is the contestant’s responsibility to ensure that he/she can be present at the location of the shoot during the days indicated. Transportation and accommodation will not be provided.
9 – If the storyboard allows it, the contestant may play a lead role in the music video. Final decision regarding the contestant’s participation in the video as an actor will be made by Zameer and the director of the music video.
10 – All copyrights of the storyboard will be assigned to Rizvi Records Canada.
