Strings return from their first leg of US tour

Bilal Maqsood“It was tiring but great fun.” – Faisal Kapadia

It’s been over a year since Koi Aanay Wala Hai released and since then, Strings are blazing glory throughout. The pros of pop, Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood, are back home after performing in a series of shows in their first leg of US tour.

“We performed seven concerts in 15 days. It was rough on us. It was tiring but it was great fun. The response was overwhelming,” said Faisal Kapadia while speaking to Instep.

The concerts weren’t just about the music. It was also about raising funds for Shaukat Khanum hospital.Faisal Kapadia

“The fundraiser included four shows in Dallas, Houston, New Jersey and Washington DC,” said Faisal.

Meanwhile Strings are set to debut at Coke Studio Season 2 later this month on the final episode with their new single, ‘Titliyan’ – a video for which is also in the works.

Despite their last studio album being over a year old, Strings know exactly how to play the musical game. With videos for ‘Titliyan’ and ‘Keh Do’ on the way, rest assured Strings are not done with this record just yet. And we couldn’t be more pleased.
