Did Shiraz Uppal Really Cover Enrique’s Song?

February 22, 2011

There is a great chance you have already heard the much controversial Cover that Shiraz released 2 days ago, if you haven’t you can give it a shot here. We have to write about it since people started to doubt our authenticity when we shared this song. The version we posted, which is definitely not done by Enrique, is sung by Shiraz Uppal, at least that’s what he claimed. It is so wonderfully close to the original version that anyone would get confused. That, however means, Shiraz hit the spot just right.

We wanted to share some of the information to make you believe we weren’t “making up” stuff when we shared the single. Firstly, the song was shared by Shiraz himself on his personal Facebook account. A lot of you may now argue that his account probably got hacked? Well, soon after he shared the cover song, Ali Noor from Noori, commented on the song from his personal Facebook account, screen-shot of which can be seen below

Not enough proof? Soon after, Ali Zafar, posted the song on his official fan page with over 280,000 fans.
