The Mushroom Cloud Effect‘ is the awaited upcoming debut album from Pakistani rapper and singer-songwriter Adil Omar due to be released this year in 2012. LUX Style Awards 2012: Music Nominations

Nominations for the 11th LUX Style Awards were announced in Karachi this week. The Awards office of Pakistan’s most credible and coveted Awards released nominations in 26 categories in the genres of Film, Music, Television and Fashion.

The LSA Film Jury voted for Bol across all three categories. Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol was the sole film that made the grade and qualified as a bonafide entrant for an Award that is given out for excellence in cinema.

Adil Omar‘s “Paki Rambo” music video shoot, the 2nd single off his debut album “The Mushroom Cloud Effect“. The song has been produced by DJ Solo of Soul Assassins and the video has been directed by Shahbaz Shigri and Aisha Linnea Akhtar.

It is said that former Pakistan pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar was also meant to be in Adil’s music video but their schedules clashed and it didn’t end up happening.

The song is also said to be a part of an upcoming Pakistani feature film Gol Chakkar‘s soundtrack.
