Info: Written and composed by young musician Faiza herself, “Meri Zindagi” is perhaps a coming-of-age song for the musician and somewhat introspectively, talks to the youth, more specifically young girls, to be more independent and in decision making control of their lives; a vision driven from the musician’s own personal experiences and journey of young rebellion, having constantly clashed with tradition and expectations, carving out a path for herself.

Musician Faiza Mujahid announces the release of her song and first official music video for single “Meri Zindagi”, on the 9th of May 2011 across all television and radio networks in Pakistan. This marks Faiza Mujahid’s return to the music industry and sees the musician in a new avatar, with an anthem looking to inspire the new generation of urban girls and women in Pakistan.

Indeed Faiza Mujahid’s debut release was what came to be a major music release and hit, “Bandeya Ho” composed and sung with musician Khawar Jawad for Shoaib Mansoor’s hugely acclaimed film, “Khuda Ke Liye”
