Eros to release Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Bol’ worldwide on 20th May, 2011

Breaking News: Acclaimed Pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor’s much-awaited second full-length feature film, ‘Bol‘ will be released in India and the rest of the world on the 20th of May, 2011 by entertainment giant, Eros. The company which introduced Hollywood model of film distribution in India, will be distributing it worldwide whereas it is likely to be released in Pakistan by Geo Films, after the cricket world cup hysteria simmers down.

‘Bol‘ is Shoaib Mansoor‘s second dramatic breakthrough of revealing life with its complexities. It is a gripping story authored by him. A story that shows barely make ends meet. On top of the poverty the father subscribes to a set of values that embody contradictions, values that have not been questioned.

‘Bol’ is likely to be released after the Cricket World Cup

Shoaib Mansoor‘s ‘Bol’ which was supposed to be released last year and then early this year, was delayed to settle matters related to distribution. But now, the much-awaited film by the ace director Shoaib Mansoor, is likely to be released after the cricket world cup hysteria simmers down i.e it is now likely to hit cinemas in mid April, 2011. It was cleared by the Film Censor Board in November last year.

The cast of the film comprises Humaima Malick, Atif Aslam, Iman Ali, Mahira Khan, Shafqat Cheema, Manzar Sehbai, Zaib Rehman, Amr Kashmiri and Sagar.
