To announce and celebrate this long term association, Castrol Pakistan hosted an evening with top sporting personalities including the legendary Wasim Akram, who unveiled the official ICC World Cup 2011 trophy at the event; Captain of the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Sana Mir with her teammates Sania Iqbal, Nida Rashid, Marina Iqbal and their fielding coach Abdul Majeed were also in attendance and were honoured on stage by master of ceremonies Saima Mohsin along with Wasim Akram and the audience, who gave the team a standing ovation. PCB’s Director of Cricket Operations Zakir Khan, Mrs. Bushra Aitzaz Ahsan Chairperson of Pakistan Women Cricket and Pakistan Veteran Cricket Association (PVCA) Chief Executive Officer Ashiq Hussain Qureshi were also present at the event. The stars and creatives of Slackistan walked the red carpet at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.

The Slackistan team of Hammad Khan, Aisha Linnea Akhtar, Shahana Khan Khalil and Adnan Malik walked the red carpet with the Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody, Ben Affleck, Clive Owen, Gerard Depardieu, Director Oliver Stone, Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and other stars for the first day of the Abu Dhabi Film Festival at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Coke Studio Season 3 Episode 2 'Will'

The second episode of Coke Studio 3 aired on June 20th. The episode featured five tracks out of which only two proved to be extremely amazing. Coke Studio is famous for maintaining its style of fusion and diversity in music, this time flavored a bit experimental and mind-numbing. It was nice to see EP performing together but they could not maintain the real essence of the beautiful song “Bolo Bolo” by Sajjad Ali.  A very famous song from hit album “Babia” of Sajjad Ali, which was released in early 90’s, had “Bolo Bolo” as the second most favorite song, after “Babia”. The vocalist Fawad did little justice with this legendary and gorgeous song of Sajjad Ali. The bona fide quintessence of the song wasn’t felt at all. Coke Studio S03E02 ‘Will’ Gets Disappointing Tweets

Coke Studio has been the most awaited show of Pakistan with largest fan-base. As soon as the episode starts, music fanatics go crazy expressing their opinions on the episode on social networks like Facebook and Twitter.

Episode 2 “Will” of Season 3 however has been a disappointment for most of the listeners online. Listeners have generally left bad comments, at least on twitter.
