1. Tera Hone Laga Hoon (Atif Aslam OST Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani)

Atif stands on the top of the charts with his song, which has Alisha Chinoi as the other vocalist. Alisha sounds intense whereas Atif stands fresh, romantic and sensual in the song with his high-pitched vocals. The remix version of the same song, after some colorful mixing, sounds a bit faster and less romantic than the original one. Nevertheless, Atif rocks in both.

2. Meri Zaat (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan OST Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Be’nishaa’n)

With this as the title song of the Geo TV’s famous drama, a novel by Umera Ahmed, Rahat comes as deep and sensual, with an Alaap in the beginning. Rahat’s precise vocals do accurate integrity with the premise of the drama and are truly heart touching. Rahat really outshines with the miraculous melody. read more

1. Aasmaan (Hadiqa Kiani)

After almost six years, Hadiqa returns to the spotlight with Aasmaan. The album comprises songs in Pashtu, Punjabi, Persian and Urdu. Her multilingual singing is merged with her pop style and music genre. Some of the grooviest numbers from the album are “Sohniya”, ”Janan”, “Tuk Tuk” and “Az Chashme Saqi”.

2. Umeed-e-Sahar (Laal)

With striking poetry of Faiz, Faraz and Jalib, Laal has really done an awe-inspiring job this time. The music sounds a bit revolutionary kind besides being melodic. With “Umeed -e-Sahar” being the title song of the album, some other heart touching tracks are “Jagoo”, “Sadaa”, “Kal Aaj Aur Kal” and “Mene Us se Yeh Kahaa”.

3. Pichal Pairee (Overload)

1. Chal Bulleya (Mekaal Hasan Band)

The title song of Album Saptak, the theme comprises of seven cardinal sins. Directed by Bilal Lashari, and wardrobe by Ammar Bilal, the theme goes parallel with the beautiful poetry of Bulleh Shah. The seven cardinal sins concept is depicted well, with an exotically novel idea. Apart from conventional love stories message, the video is riveting.

2. Tanha Hai Kyun (Ali Azmat; Klashanfolk)

Zeeshan Perwez comes up with a brilliant attempt for the second video from the album. With rocking video and haunting vocals, it gets the second rank.

3. Az Chashm Saqi (Hadiqa Kiani: Aasmaan)

With beautiful and mesmerizing Persian poetry of Allama Iqbal, with clips of Iqbal’s life at different places, Hadiqa’s outrageous wardrobe and styling add a graceful glitziness to the video. He writes, composes and sings his songs himself, with lot of melancholy in his songs. The fresh talent is not bound to red tape limitations; Bilal proves it by hitting on You Tube, with his deep and mesmerizing song.

2. Chue Chue ( Zain ul Abideen)
