In response to the goal of “being present in all countries of the world”, the famous Spanish clothing brand, MANGO opened its first outlet here in the metropolitan at the Dolmen city Mall Clifton on Thursday, 5th July.
After bringing international brands like Lifestyle, Splash and Baby shop, Alkaram Pakistan brings another famous high street fashion brand, MANGO to the metropolis. Famous actress, Mahira Khan along with Mr. Abid Omer (CEO Mango Pakistan) and Sean Hurley (Expansion director of Mango) did a ribbon cutting to mark the opening of MANGO’s first outlet in the country.
Mango was founded in 1984 and it has more than 2,400 stores in more than 107 countries. Dressing the urban and modern woman and meeting her daily needs is the formula which has been analyzed, adapted and applied to each country. Mango opening up in Pakistan is initiative for all Pakistani women to have a store to dress stylish and trendy in an affordable price.
The MANGO/MNG concept arises from the interrelation between a quality product with an original design and a coherent and unified brand image.
Currently the Mango store is displaying their new fall winter collection. The season begins in August and lasts till December; the new Fall-Winter 2012 collection offers four basic lines: Evening, Suit, Casual-Sport and Jeans plus the external designers’ collections such as the Arabic countries ones or limited editions. Each collection offers garments easy to combine according to the costumer style and personality. Furthermore, they are able to meet daily needs of MANGO women.
The launch event had a fashion presentation, in which models showcased the Fresh, Feminine, Cool, Commercial and Easy Mango collection.
The launch event organized by Catwalk Productions and PR by Catalyst PR & Marketing, was attended by celebrities and Socialites like Mahira Khan, Ayesha Toor, Adnan Malik, Amin Guljee, Farah Khan, Momal Sheikh, Hasan Rizvi, Eshal, Nazia Malik and Nousheen. A large number of general public was also present to welcome “Mango” to Pakistan.
Models for the event were Areeba, Abeer, Mubashira, Sana Khan, Sitara, Sehrish and Munal.
