Artist Bio:
When asked to describe his music Jarar said “I wouldn’t… that’s for them to describe”. Leaving his music open to the wider interpretations of his audience, Jarar Malik has been playing for a variety of bands since his childhood. A BsC student in Business from George Mason University, USA, he has recently finished recording his debut album at his home studio in Washington DC and has worked as a session musician with names like Jal and Haroon. Jovi and Maroon5. Jarar hopes to receive a platform through Ufone Uth Records 2.0 to showcase his art to a wider audience and connect with them on a musical level. Experimenting with a diverse range of music from pop to rock to R&B, Jarar plays both the guitar as well as keyboards.
Jarar describes his time at Ufone Uth Records 2.0 as “absolutely amazing”. “Bewafa” is a song about heartbreak, something he felt most people have experienced at some level and will be able to relate to. He was accompanied by Louis J Pinto aka Gumby, Russell D’Souza and Natasha Ejaz as guest musicians for the track.
