Seems like the entertainment media of our neighboring country, India, the Bollywood has become quite fond of the talent found in Pakistan. May it be our actors, our singers, or music composers. Mustafa Zahid after his first big music venture with Mahesh Bhatt is 2007, has now again sung three songs for Mahesh Bhatt’s upcoming film, ‘Blood Money‘. In an interview with IANS, Zahid praises Bollywood by saying that:

“I had no difficulty working in the Indian music industry. I had my own room for creativity and all the people were very cooperative during recording of my songs.”

On the movie ‘Blood Money’, and its songs, Zahid said,

“All the three songs (in ‘Blood Money’) are very soulful and the music is equally good. Bollywood music is based on a story line and music and songs have to be according to the situation and mood of the movie. Whereas in Pakistan, we don’t have to match the songs to the storyline or background of the film.”

Zahid is said to be one of the finest vocalists from Pakistan who brought freshness into Bollywood by singing songs in his soothing voice in the 2007 Mahesh Bhatt movie, ‘Awaarapan’. He lent his voice to songs like ‘Tou Phir Aao’, ‘Tera Mera Rishta’, ‘Oo Jana‘ and ‘Khuda Kay Liye‘.

Besides Zahid, ‘Blood Money’ also features the voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who has sung the song ‘Chaahat‘. The three songs by Zahid, ‘Gunah Kia’, ‘Jo Tere Sung’ and ‘Teri Yaadon’ are expected to be released on the 20th of February with their official videos.
