Ali Zafar Finishes Recording the Music of ‘London, Paris, New York’

December 3, 2011

Ali Zafar just finished recording the soundtrack for his forthcoming film ‘London, Paris, New York‘ which is a coming-of-age love story.

The soundtrack consists of six different tracks. All tracks are composed, written and sung by Ali Zafar, himself, who also plays the lead character in the film along with Aditi Rao Hydari. “It’s an intense process but wonderfully satisfying,” said Ali, who has successfully recorded all the tracks at his home studio.

“I am ecstatic. I have finished my work for the music of #LPNY. 6 rocking tracks. Can’t wait for you all to hear,” tweeted Ali.

In an earlier interview with HT, Ali said that the film’s music is not going to be conventional.

“I want to create sounds that are fresh like our film. And since the film touches on different emotions I can experiment with genres. I will use as many ‘live’ instruments as possible to give the songs an organic feel.”

Ali also told that all the songs reflect the character of the three cities — London, Paris and New York, in which the story is set.

“The London song will be happier, with simpler notes, as compared to the one set in Paris that will be edgier. The New York track will be more refined.”

Let’s hope that the composer, writer and singer Ali Zafar gives a music nothing less than a masterpiece.

Presented by Fox Studios and Rose Movies, London, Paris, New York is expected to release early next year.
