Saif Ali Khan Acquired the Rights of a Famous Pakistani Song

Indian actor, Saif Ali Khan’s film production company Illuminati Films has acquired the rights of a popular Pakistani song for his upcoming movie.

The film, a love triangle is entitled Cocktail and stars Saif Ali Khan with Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.

The songs of the film have been composed by none other than Pritam who previously composed for Saif’s Love Aaj Kal that featured chart busters like Aahun Aahun (which was inspired from the old Pakistani song Kadi Te Has Bol Ve) and Ajj Din Chadeya (which was sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan).

According to Bollyspice, for the soundtrack, the makers bought the rights of a famous Pakistani song, which has been revised slightly for the film.

Not much has been said about the song and who will be singing it. We hope Pritam doesn’t ruin the essence of the original.

The film is due to release early next year.
