Ali Zafar chosen The Hottest Face of 2010 by TOI

July 5, 2011

The biggest pop sensation of Pakistan, Ali Zafar, who managed to earn himself enormous respect in Bollywood with his first debut, has a number of reasons to stay in B-town for years to come. From being in the news for earning nomination in all leading Bollywood awards to creating hype for the super success of his third album Jhoom on Indian charts, this time he makes headlines for entirely different reason. This good looking actor has been chosen as The Hottest new face of 2010 (male) by a poll conducted by Times of India. Some 3.43 lakh Indians voted in this poll and chose Ali Zafar as the Hottest New male of 2010. Ranvir Singh of Band Baaja Baaraat, stood second in this public poll.

This annual public poll by the India’s most influential media group is highly respected amongst media circles due to the fair process of voting. Hence it’s another great achievement for Ali Zafar as a Pakistani.

Despite earning fame and respect in Bollywood the actor is also gearing up for a noble cause. Ali Zafar apparently plans to teach music to the less privileged kids for which he is already in talks with an NGO.

A source close to the star says,

“Ali was contemplating quite a few options but finally decided on sharing his knowledge on music with the lesser privileged. He finalised on this simply because music is something that comes most naturally to him and he considers it to be the purest thing he can impart at the moment. He wants to put his talent to a good use and looks like he’s found the right way.”
