Jal to Collaborate with Rabbi Shergill at Coke Studio Season 4?

The news of Rabbi Shergill and Jal performing at the Coke Studio Season 4 has been surfacing for quite sometime. What we weren’t hearing was that they are performing together.

While everyone was lip-tight about the season 4 of the Coke Studio, Jal, for reasons unknown, has tried to spill out as much information as possible. Jal confirmed their presence in the show back in December last year and later leaked a few images with Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch, confirming her inclusion and a potential collaboration. They confirmed that they will be performing three tracks this season. They even announced the season launch date before the Coke Studio could officially do it.

Jal also shared an image of Goher Mumtaz playing music along with Rabbi Shergill in a casual session. That of course hints to a potential collaboration. We have heard from a second hand internal source that Jal will be collaborating with Rabbi Shergill to perform “Bulla Ki Jaana”. We wanted to stay lip-tight about this till the season announcement because Coke Studio is notorious for dropping out plans if they make waves before hand.

So I’m assuming out of the three tracks that Jal will perform, one will be a solo act that’s due to come out in the first episode, another will be a collaboration with Rabbi Shergill, and the last one a collobration with Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch

While I didn’t have a lot of expectation from Jal, this collaboration, if it takes place, will definitely kick some ass.
