Shallum Xavier Shows Support to Music Freedom Day 2011

February 20, 2011

Music Freedom Day, started first on 3rd, March 2007, marks it’s 4th anniversary this year. Music Freedom Day is an initiative to go against those who want to put an end to music in your region (read: Mullahs).

The day is celebrated around the globe including media houses from Canada and USA in the west to Zimbabwe in the south and Pakistan in the east.

Music Freedom Day provides an opportunity to take a thorough look at the subject – in your own language, with your own perspective and in a manner that suits you. You can organize a concert or a seminar, produce a radio feature, show a film, write an article or just dedicate a song to Music Freedom Day.

The activities taking place this year can be found here.

Shallum Xavier on his official Facebook page has announced his support to the day which means expect something this March from guitar maestro.
