Khayal Rakhna – Noori’s Call for Support
Promote ‘Khayal Rakhna‘ by making the Smiley image as your Profile Picture on Facebook, Twitter or any other social network
‘Khayal Rakhna‘ is an youth awareness and mobilization organization launched by popular Pakistan band, ‘Noori‘ through which will be conducted all philanthropic activities associated with the band.
Whether it is a charity campaign launched entirely on the Khayal Rakhna platform, or whether it is someone else’s initiative which Noori supports (via Khayal Rakhna), the concept behind this organization is to Emphasize on the Collective Effort through Partnerships and Team Work.
The aspirations of Khayal Rakhna are hence broad-based. The name itself explains the aspirations and ambition of this organization, that is, TO TAKE CARE OF OUR COUNTRY, PAKISTAN. They’ll do this in whichever way they can. They’ll discover different valuable initiatives and causes that can be brought under the head of their theme – Khayal Rakhna. And then they’ll pursue them by:
a) Mobilizing the Pakistani Youth
b) Using their Access to Media platforms to Create Awareness for these initiatives
The idea is simple and allows for us to support a variety of causes.
‘Donate Happiness‘ is the first initiative launched under the banner of Khayal Rakhna.
The concept behind the ‘Donate Happiness‘ campaign is to promote and enable efforts in support of the Reconstruction and Rehabilitation process in the aftermath of the recent devastating floods in Pakistan
The involvement of our compatriots in the Disaster Management stage has been unbelievable. Given that we have been facing turmoil after turmoil for quite some time now, one would expect a sense of fatigue in the ‘Pakistani Awam’. But the way people have responded is truly inspiring and energizing, much like the way Pakistanis responded after the 2005 earthquake. And that says a lot about what we Pakistani’s are made up of!
The core intention behind ‘Donate Happpiness‘ is to celebrate this strength of our compatriots, and then, to give Pakistan a kind of a ’boost’ in preparation for the upcoming Reconstruction and Rehabilitation phase.
The mobilization component of this initiative is to bring Pakistan’s youth together to help young flood affectees rejuvenate themselves from the difficulties of this disaster, and begin the journey towards their normal lives.

What they did?
They helped put together Happy Packs for children to be distributed on Eid at one of the relief camps in partnership with the organization SHINE HIUMANITY (www.shinehumanity.org), which provided trucks and logistical support for the delivery of the Happy Packs. They also intended on taking along some Eid entertainment for people at the camps.
They say ‘at least’, because the continuation of this campaign depends on how well we can mobilize ourselves. And that depends a lot on you, dear prospective volunteer.
REMEMBER: Their objective is to support the Reconstruction and Rehabilitation drive, which requires a longer term effort.
There is a lot more in store if they are able to generate a sustained commitment, and they are pretty optimistic about it. But for now, let’s focus on collecting Happy Packs.

Happy Packs:
Each package will include the following items (approx. price in brackets):
1. A medium sized School Bag
2. A pair of Rubber Slippers – any size for children between 5-12
3. Coloring Book, Color Pencils, Pencil Sharpener
4. A Toy or Game item – [can be a small toy for little kids, or Sport items for older kids, bats, balls, badminton sets, ludo,football etc.]
5. Snacks: packs of chips, candy, juice – [please collect items that don’t melt, degrade or break easily]
