A Short Dialogue with Amanat Ali & Mehreen Raheel For Redbull Air Race

Q1. What was the experience with the pilot during the Media Flight?
Amanat: I really enjoyed watching Mehreen take off in the plane, but was glad I was not in it! The pilot, Sergio Pla, was so patiently explaining everything to Mehreen before he took her on the flight.
Mehreen: It was a once in a lifetime experience and when I came back down to earth, I felt exhilarated and like a new person! The pilot was so very good at what he does and made me feel very calm before I took off with him, and during the flight.
Q2. How did you feel while flying Mehreen?
Mehreen: I felt alive! Red Bull DOES give you wings! [giggles]I could feel the blood rushing to my head during the flight and the pilot told me to do certain exercises while in mid air, so as to make it more comfortable for me.
Q3. Share your experience with Red Bull?
Mehreen: Red Bull is a great, fun brand that invests in bringing entertaining extreme sports events to people around the globe. I had a great time at the Air Race and loved every minute of my being there. I was representing my country and that was the best part.
Amanat: I was very well taken care of at the event and got to meet some of the world’s greatest pilots! I felt proud representing Pakistan on such a large global platform.
Q4. What would be your message after this experience?
Mehreen: Face your fears – you can do anything you put your mind to!
Amanat: Push yourself to the limit and see what you can accomplish.
