Aag Alive ’09 will finally happen today at Sharjah Golf Club. The event will be indoor so don’t worry it’s not going to rain this time.

Update 1:

Sunday is just around the corner and I haven’t received any update from the Aag team about the new date. However, Annie has also updated her facebook status confirming it on Sunday. Hadiqa has also updated another status confirming that event will take place on Sunday. Let’s just hope it’s really happening tomorrow. Please share in comments if you have any more details.

So, once again the largest concert of Pakistan goes off but this time the reason was the massive rain and wind. Since the venue was open air, the organizers (Aag) couldn’t do anything but wait. Within 2 hours almost 300 people had left the venue which confirmed us that concert will not be happening today. Moreover the crowd asked for re-fund of their money, which wasn’t provided by the Aag team which gave us the confirmation that concert is delayed but not canceled. The new tentative date set for the concert was said to be 13th of December, 2009 which has now almost been confirmed. The event will take place this Sunday now. Aag Alive has been postponed till Sunday due to the Rain

We really hope that the event sets off on Sunday now since millions have been spent on this by Aag and the sponsors. Besides, it’s one of the best concerts that will ever take place in the history of Pakistan
