Shehzad Roy on PBS ‘Chicago Night’ with Phil Ponce
Shehzan Roy is a musician and social entrepreneur from Pakistan. He’s President and Founder of the Zindagi Trust, an organization working to improve primary and secondary education in Pakistan. He funds his education project with the proceeds from his concerts. We’ll hear about a girl’s school he’s been working on in Karachi.
Shehzad will receive the 2009 Patricia Blunt Koldyke Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship from the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and will give a talk tomorrow night on making a difference for the children of Pakistan through better education.
