Yes I was the keyboard player for ‘Fore Thoughts’ and in your article you have mis-spelt the name of our lead guitarist his name is Asif Luqmani and not Anis Luqmani. The group members were:

Asif Luqmani, Anis Ahmed, Bashir Belouch and Umeed Ansari

Watching a news about “Alamgir’s health on TV this morning, my younger brother told me about Alamgir’s background. As we were discussing pop music in Pakistan, all of a sudden the music group “Four Thoughts” came into my head. I was a teenager in the 60s and I was surprised that I remembered this group’s name. Of course my younger brother has no recollection (having better memory and all) of this group. Therefore, I searched the net for any news or articles regarding the music group “Four Thoughts” in the 60s. And I happened to stumbled upon your site and enjoyed the two renditions I remember very well but haven’t heard since. And I also realized the actual name of the group “FORE THOUGHTS”

    Thank you for sharing,
    Hasan

PS – I would love to get in touch with Anis and other group members if possible.
