Soul Anesthetic is an alternative Rock band based in Karachi.The band currently has been playing in commercial and as well as other shows and struggling its way to mainstream.The band plays all Genre which includes Pop ,Rock ,Semi classical and Metal.The band caters huge variety of listeners.
The band was formed back in 2006 by Dr Baber Khan(Vocalist) and Amin Zafar(Lead guitarist).Dr Babar had Pakistani and eastern influences where as Amin had completely western and Rock influences.Combining both influences resulted in really cool stuff and they decided to form a band.Later Vicky joined the band as a drummer.Vicky was ex-drummer of a Rock band Jazba in 1992 and real awesome Drummer.After that Asim Meir joined the band as a Bassist.Asim Meir is really a groovy and powerful Bassist and have been playing bass since 12 years.He is a Director at Manhattan Advertising Agency.
