Zeb & Haniya won the Best Live Act award at MTV Pakistan Awards 2009

Ali Zafar won the Best Male Singer at MTV Pakistan Awards 2009

Strings won the best band and best album (Koi Aanay Wala Hai) award. Thumbs up for strings. I pretty much liked their new album which wasn’t appreciated much but Ali Azmat should have won I think?

Kamran Ahmed (82ROCKER) won the “MTV Best Breakthrough Artist Award” for his chartbreaking single “JUDAI”.

Josh won the MTV Award for their hit “Nasha Pyar Da”.

Jal’s “Morey Piya” won the Best Balled Song of the year at Mtv Pakistan Music Awards

Shehzad Roy won two awards “Best Lyrics” for Laga Reh and “Best Pop Song” for Laga Reh.

Noori won the “Best Rock Song” for their song Do Dil.

Feriha Pervez won the Best Female Singer Award
